Choose a public summary link for a limited read-only audience, a report export for detailed evidence, or a badge for the latest repository grade.
Steps
- Open Share on a completed audit report to create a read-only summary link. Review its expiry and audience; anyone holding an active public link can open the summary without an account.
- Use Download for a detailed PDF, Markdown, SARIF or supported SBOM export. Choose PDF sections deliberately and handle downloaded files according to their contents.
- For a README grade, use the badge in repository settings. It represents the latest default-branch audit and may be cached; verify the full report before using it as release evidence.
- Revoke a share link when it is no longer needed. Invite collaborators to a team workspace when they need authenticated access rather than a public summary.

Public audit summaries omit file paths, line numbers, source code, secrets and commit SHAs; the repository name is shown. Full exports have a different purpose and can contain more detail. A badge or shared grade does not describe every check or deployment.
Limits and availability
A public link can be forwarded, and revocation cannot erase a copy someone already saved. A successful SARIF download does not automatically upload alerts to GitHub. Network report workspace sharing is a separate feature with its own redacted view.
This guide describes the implemented workflow. The features available in your workspace depend on account capabilities and configuration; advanced workflows are not all included in Free Quick Scan. Check the available controls and the evidence returned by each run.
